Smoked Salmon Dip

IMG_7118

This past weekend I held a seafood themed dinner party. I set the table based on the theme and started prepping the meal. I love when a table is set to show the guest what to expect and that you took the time to make it nice for them. I found the fish plates at Pottery Barn that added the perfect touch! I really felt at the beach with the table setting along with the food which had some type of seafood or fish in it. The first thing I served was the smoked salmon dip along with fruit infused water ( lemon and orange slices this time) and Basil & Peach Moscow Mules. Since I had never made this type of dip before I turned to good ole Pinterest for some inspiration and came across this recipe that looked legit. The dip was really good if you enjoy a fish type dip. I did get some feed back to add more salmon next time which I was hesitant about doing in the first place because I didn’t want it to be too fishy. Next time I will add a few extra pieces and pulse only a few times at the end for texture. Throughout this week I will be adding the recipes from the seafood dinner I held.  OH- and I even found these salmon colored fish bowls to serve the dip in ( also from Pottery Barn) Perfect for salmon dip!
